Nora L. Bourque
LEWISTON — Nora L. Bourque, 97, widow of John Bourque, of 220 Franklin St., Rumford, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Central Maine Medical Center, where she had been a patient for 11 days.
Born in Riley, March 5, 1903, the daughter of Jacob and Domitille McGraw Legere, she was educated in that community. A resident of Mexico and Rumford for most of her life, Mrs. Bourque was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church. She retired from Oxford Paper Company, where she had worked in the main coated department.
Mrs. Bourque was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the 25-Year Club of Retired Oxford Employees. She enjoyed being with people and playing cards.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Percy, Leo, Alfred and Edward Legere and two sisters, Delma Libby and Irene Arsenault.
