L. Vautour Cap Pele (Special) -
Leandre Vautour, 77, of Cap Pele died Sunday on arrival at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Cap Pele, he was a son of the late Philippe and Anna (Cormier) Vautour, and had been employed at a fish processing plant on retirement. He is survived by his wife, the former Octavie Allain; three daughters, Mrs. Donald LeBlanc (Cecile) of Cap Pele, Mrs. Azore LeBlanc (Leona) of Petit Cap and Mrs. Paul Cormier (Sylvia) of Moncton; three sons, Achille, Vincent and Ferdina, all of Cap Pele; seven sisters, Mrs. Elise Jacob, Mrs. Claudia Gaudet, Mrs. Valmont Richard (Eveline), Mrs. Osithe Cormier and Mrs. Adeline Cormier, all of Cap Pele, Mrs. Henri Leger (Delia) of Haute-Abouiagane and Mrs. Freddie Brun (Andrea) of Caissie Cape; four brothers, Clovis, Leoda and Olivier, all of Cap Pele, and Rene of Shediac; and 10 grandchildren. A son, Michel, a sister, Marie, and two brothers, Albert and Ulric, died previously. The body is at the Cap Pele Roman Catholic Church where funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac.
