Mrs. C. Melanson -
The death of Mrs. Elise Melanson, Cap Pele, RR 1, occurred Friday at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, following an illness of one month. She was 73. Born in Cap Pele, she was the daughter of the late Alphee and Virginia (LeBlanc) Leger and attended the Cap Pele Roman Catholic Church. Besides her husband, Cloris Melanson, of Cap Pele, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Boudreau (Faustine) of Cap Pele, Mrs. Leonard Goguen (Rejane) of Robichaud, RR 1 and Mrs. Valerie Ouellette (Leola) of Belerica, Mass.; three sons, Napoleon, Valmont and Cliff Melanson all of Cap Pele, two brothers, Arthur and Alfred Leger of Cap Pele; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac. Funeral service will be held in the Cap Pele Roman Catholic Church on Sunday, March 12 at 2:30 p.m. Entombment will be in the Cap Pele Roman Catholic cemetery vault.
