Death Occurs At Barachois Barachois (Special) -
Mrs. Sarah Leger died early Tuesday at the age of 55 at her home in Barachois. She was employed in a lobster packing plant and although she had not been feeling well for the past several days, her death was unexpected. Mrs. Leger was born in Cocagne, but lived in Barachois for the past several years. Her husband predeceased her several years ago. She leaves to mourn six sons and three daughters. The sons are Ulysse, Raymond, Leo, Eloi, Laurie and Francis, all of Barachois. The daughters are Mrs. Joseph Cormier, Mrs. Ivan Cormier, and Miss Alice Leger, all of Barachois. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Rose Ann Hachey, Moncton; Mrs. Domithile Martin, Moncton, and Mrs. Elizabeth Belliveau, Cocagne. Two brothers, Francis Breau, St. Martin, and Peter Breau, Grand Falls, also survive, as well as fourteen grandchildren. The body was taken from Richard's Funeral Home Monday evening to the home in Barachois, from where the funeral will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 to the St. Henry Roman Catholic Church, Barachois. Burial will be in the family lot in Barachois cemetery.
