Mrs. R. Leger -
The death of Mrs. Regina Leger, widow of Alfred Leger, of St. Anthony, occurred Friday at Attleboro, Mass., after a brief illness. She was 82. Born at St. Mary, Kent County, she was a daughter of the late Damien and Marguerite (Daigle) Allain and attended St. Anthony Roman Catholic church. Her husband died in 1951. Surviving are, three daughters, Mrs. Eddie Leger (Noella) and Mrs. Bernard Fenelin (Bertha), both of Attleborough, and Mrs. Zenon Robichaud (Marie) of Fitchburg, Mass.; six sons, Gerald and Victor, both of St. Anthony, Zenon and Desire, both of Moncton, Eli, living in California and Roger of Leominister, Mass.; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Poirier of St. Mary, Mrs. Elias Girouard of Moncton and Lorette Allain of Campbellton; four brothers, Alfred of Lynn, Mass., Alyre of St Mary, Camile of Montreal and Eric of St. Anthony; 32 grandchildren and several great grandchilren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, 88 Church Street, with service to be held in the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
