Edmond Leger Shediac (Special) -
The death of Edmond Leger of Main Street, Shediac, occurred Tuesday at Moncton Hospital. He was 81. Born in Aboujagan, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philippe Leger. He was a retired employee of the CNR and attended the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Laudie Pitre; five daughters, Mrs. Harold Crowe (Claudia) and Mrs. Laurie Richard (Bertha), both of Moncton: Mrs. Robert Arsenault (Angusta) Leominster, Mass.; Mrs. Augustin Pitre (Emilienne), St. Paul and Mrs. Eugene LeBLanc (Therese), Germany; two sons, Adelard (Duke) Leger, Moncton and Alyre (Joe) Leger, Shediac; two sisters, Mrs. Val Landry (Jeanette), Moncton and Mrs. Edmee Conroy, Moncton; three brothers, Clarence and Leonide, both of Shediac and Philippe, Moncton; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home in Shediac. The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 3 p.m. at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Paul Roman Catholic cemetery.
