J. A. Comeau Port Elgin (Special) -
The death of J. Adolph Comeau of Shemogue occurred Monday at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. He was 84. Born in Shemogue, he was a son of the late Philip and Margaret (LeBlanc) Comeau. He is survived by his wife, the former Beatrice Leger, five daughters, Mrs. William Parks (Eleanor) of Miami, Mrs. Ernest Webster (Rita) and Mrs. Bernard Whitehead (Eunice) both of Ontario, Mrs. Victor Raiche (Albertine) of Bathurst, Mrs. Austin Feron (Ester) of Moncton and Mrs. James Williams (Ola) of Port Elgin; five brothers, Arthur of Detroit, Alex of Amherst, Edmond of Port Elgin, Napoleon of Moncton and Philemon of Dover and 22 grandchildren. The body is resting at Jones funeral home in Port Elgin. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church in Port Elgin. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
