Mrs. J. Leger -
The death of Mrs. Annie Leger, widow of Jim Leger, of 334 Robinson Street, Moncton, and formerly of Lakeburn, occurred Wednesday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital following a brief illness. She was 63. Born in Amherst, N. S., she was the daughter of the late Pierre Gallant and Clothilda Bourgeois. She was a retired housewife and attended the Assumption Cathedreal. Her husband predeceased her in 1966. She is survived by four sons, Gerard, Leominster, Mass., and Leo, Paul and Emery, all of Waltham, Mass.; five brothers, Adolphe Gallant of Montreal, Edgar of Montreal, Joseph of Sussex, Raymond of Toronto and Gerard of Moncton; along with one grandchild. The body is resting in Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street with the funeral service to be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Assumption Cathedral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
