A. J. Arseneau -
Anthony J. (Antoine) Arseneau, 69, of RR1 Robichaud died Monday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a brief illness. Born in Rogersville, he was a son of Elda (Leger) and the late Jacques Arseneault. He was a retired plumber and attended St. Henri du Barachois Roman Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the Second World War. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Eveline Brun; five daughters, Mrs. Raymond Pellerin (Dora) and Mrs. Camilien Cormier (Gilberte), both of Barachois, Mrs. George Whitehorse (Jean) of New York, Mrs. Robert Burke (Annette) and Mrs. Philip Hughes (Theresa), both of Atlanta, Ga; four sisters, Mrs. Alphonse Brun (Cecile) of Barachois, Mrs. Therese Cyr of Saint John, Mrs. Marie Maher of Oromocto and Mrs. Hermen Stemm (Rosa) of Calgary; eight brothers, Abel of Calais, Me., Joseph, Jean Thadde, Francois, Emile and Arthur, all of Rogersville, Alphonse and Louis, both of Millerton; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Henri du Barachois Roman Catholic Church 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Barachois.
