R. LeBlanc -
Raoul LeBlanc, 86, of St. Anselme, died Monday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, following a lengthy illness. Born in St. Anselme, he was a son of the late Calixte J. and Josephine (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. He worked as a boilermaker foreman with CNR for 42 years. He attended St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church and was a member of La Societee L'Assomption and Caissie Populaire, and Club D'Age D'Or. He is survived by his wife, the former Lyda Leger; five daughters, Mrs. Rene Bourgeois (Jeannette) of Montreal, Mrs. Clarence Wedge (Rachel) and Mrs. George Goguen (Germaine), both of Moncton, Mrs. Guy Hamel (Yvette) of Mississaugua, Ont., Mrs. Robert LeBlanc (Lucille) of St. Bruno, Que.; two sons, Jean Paul of Halifax and Gilbert of Montreal; one sister, Mrs. Willie A. LeBlanc (Jeanne) of St. Anselme; 26 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Three sisters and two brothers died previously. The body is at Chartersville Funeral Home, Dieppe. Funeral mass will be celebrated on a day and time to be announced from St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
