LEGERE, John Abner January 4th, 1919~December 13th, 2005 (Veteran of WW II, Royal Canadian Regiment, Italian Campaign and the Liberation of Holland. Retired employee of 34 years of service with Loblaws Ltd.) Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness at the Penetanguishene Hospital on Tuesday December 13th, 2005. John Legere of Midland, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of 55 years to Marjorie Legere. Dear father of Sharon and her husband Tom of Port McNicoll, John and his wife Gabrielle of Newmarket, Joanne and her husband Glen of Port McNicoll. Loving Papa of Allyson, Tyler, Sean, Sarah, Patrick and Emma. Son of the late John and Sadie Legere. Brother of Audrey of New Hampshire and the late Raymond. Cremation has taken place. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all of the attending Doctors and Nurses at Huronia District Hospital and Penetanguishene Hospital for their kind care and compassion.
