V. O'Connor -
Vincent O'Connor, 74, of 50 Airport Dr., Lakeburn, died Saturday at the Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Hillsborough, he was a son of the late Irving and Alice (O'Connor) O'Connor. He was a retired civil servant at No. 5 Supply Depot and attended Notre Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lakeburn. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas. He is survived by his wife, the former Marguerite Leger of Sackville; three daughters, Miss Mary Alice of Caster, Alta., Miss Patricia Ann O'Connor of Edmonton, Alta., and Miss Katheline O'Connor of Summerside P.E.I.; one son, Robert O'Connor of Halifax ; two sisters, Miss Mary O'Connor and Mrs. Ann Dark, both of Saint John; two brothers, Lewis and Leo of Moncton; two grandchildren. The body is at Frenette's Funeral Home, Moncton. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Notre Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lakeburn. Burial will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
