Mrs. A. M. Richard -
The death of Mrs. Alvina Mary Richard, widow of Taddy V. Richard, of 20 Spider Lake Road, Dartmouth, N.S. and formerly of Amherst occurred Friday at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, after a brief illness. She was 94. Born in St. Andre, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Modest (Legere) Vienneau. She was a member of St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, Amherst. She is survived by five daughters, Lillian Richard, Emma Richard, Mrs. Laura Bourgeois, and Mrs. Bernadette Delaney, all of Montreal; Mrs. William LeBlanc (Irene), Amherst; three sons, Raymond, Manchester, Eng.; Aurele, Amherst; Rene, Montreal; two brothers, Tilmon Vienneau, St. Andre, Didace Vienneau, Waltham Mass.; 42 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Furlong's funeral home, Amherst. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. Committal service will be at the Amherst Cemetery receiving chapel, with burial in St. Charles Cemetery in the spring.
