LEGER _ Olive Eleanor (nee Vickers), born December 19, 1919, at Sydney Mines, N.S., passed away peacefully on April 29, 2004, at the age of 84. She died, as she lived, with grace, courage, dignity and a strong faith. She is survived by a loving daughter, Noelle Leger, White Rock, B.C.; and two brothers, Stanley (Jean) and Russell (Mary), Sydney Mines, N.S.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and devoted friends. She touched the hearts of those who knew her and she will be deeply missed. Burial will take place on May 5th at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14644 72nd Avenue, Surrey, B.C., at 11:00 a.m. No visiting hours. Memorial Service in celebration of her life will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel at First Baptist Church, 969 Burrard Street, Vancouver, B.C. Special thanks to the loving care-givers at St. James Cottage Hospice. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
