L. Leger -
The death of Loney Leger of RR. No. 1, Shediac, occurred Wednesday at Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. He was 71. Born at Upper Aboujagne, he was a son ot the late Jean and Emelienne (Cormier) Leger. He was a retired road commissioner with the public works department. He is survived by his wife, the former Sara LeBlanc; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald Conway (Huberte) of Germany and Mrs. Peter Miller (Anette) of Caraquet; five sisters, Mrs. Celina Bond and Mrs. Alex Boudreau (Adele), both of Shediac, Mrs. Arthur Surette (Minnie) of Florida, Mrs. Amedee Leger (Eva) and Mrs. Allain Dupuis (Louise), both of Waltham, Mass; three brothers, Olivier of Shediac, George of Dieppe and Fred Leger of Toronto, and by two grandchildren. The body will rest at Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac after 7 p.m. today. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac, with interment in the parish cemetery.
