71, 2434 Athol Road, Springhill died Thursday, March 9, 2000 in the Moncton Hospital, Moncton New Brunswick. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Alexander Eben and Mary Elizabeth (Perrin) Vance. He was an adherant of the Mapleton United Church, Mapleton, Cumberland County and a past member of the Loyal Orange Lodge 1611. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years and his family. He is survived by daughters Wendy Leger, Kincardin, Ont ; Jocelyn (Bill) Reid Springhill; Juliette (Stephen) Landry Amherst; sister Rose Wood, Springhill; Several nieces and nephews, He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Mildred Beth Fulton, brothers Charles, Burton and Alexander ;sister Tina. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm tonight 2-4; 7-9 on Saturday in A.H.Brown Funeral Home, Springhill from where the funeral service will be held at 2:30 on Sunday March 12. Rev. Elizabeth Davis Officiating. Buriel in Mapleton Cementary, Cumberland County at a later date. Donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any Charity would be appreciated.
