Zoël P. LeBlanc - (1917-2007) NOTRE-DAME, NB -
Zoël P. LeBlanc, 89, Manoire Notre-Dame and formerly of Leslie St., Moncton passed away on Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lenghty illness. Born in Adamsville, he was the son of the late Antoine LeBlanc and the late Alice Henri. A Veteran of the Second World War, Zoel served Overseas at Juneau Beach and in Normandy with the North Shore Regiment. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #6, Moncton. Prior to his retirement, he was a Federal employee with the Unemployment Insurance Commission. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doraine (Léger) LeBlanc; a daughter, Camilla Wilson (David) of Moncton; a son, Maurice (Dorice) of Dieppe; four sisters, Blanche Gallant, Lorraine Despres, Stella Léger (Joseph) all of Moncton, Anne-Marie Dorcey (Irv) of California; one brother, Léo (Marguerite) of Sudbury, ON; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Yvon and Francis. A private funeral was held at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (858-1900).
