Daniel S. Leger Dies, Aged 87
The death of Daniel S. Leger, 87, occurred after a long illness at his home in Shediac. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. Leger, of Dieppe. Mr. Leger, who was the last surviving member of his immediate family, was widely known as a travelling salesman for the Massey-Harris Company, Moncton. Surviving are his wife, the former Melanie Cormier; four daughters, Mrs. W. F. Shaw, Westmount, Quebec; Mrs. Ernest Bourque and Miss Alice Leger, of Shediac and Mrs. Euloge Forest, of Cape Bald; two sons, Severe and Camille with whom he resided, both of Shediac. He is also survived by twenty-seven grand children and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this morning at 9 o'clock in the Roman Catholic church, Shediac, with Interment in the family lot.
