Many Mourn Death of Maximillian Leger Memramcook, N.B., May 1 (Special) -
A wide circle of friends in New Brunswick, other parts of the Maritime Provinces and in the United States will learn with sorrow of the death of Maximillian Leger, who died at his home here this afternoon after an illness of six months. He was 77 years of age. Mr. Leger was a painting contractor by trade and was well known throughout the Maritimes. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Pamela LeBlanc; three daughters, Mrs. Patrick Belliveau (Alice), of Waltham, Mass.; Mrs. Herman Leger, Memramcook and Mary Louise Leger, of Waltham, Mass.; three sons, Amedee of Waltham; Cleopas, employed with the C.N.R. in Moncton, and Emilien, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Lucien Cormier, Dover, and Mrs. Albert O'Brien, of Lynn, Mass., and two brothers, Frank, of Memramcook, and Tilmon of Moncton. Funeral service will be held Friday morning at nine o'clock from St. Thomas' Church in St. Joseph's.
