Daniel Goguen Dies at Age 74 Scoudouc (Special) -
Daniel Goguen died Saturday in Scoudouc Saturday morning. He was born in St. Anthony and was 74 years of age. He spent his younger years in the United States and returned to Scoudouc about 39 years ago. he was employed with the CNR for 30 years as a carpenter with the bridge and building crew and had been retired for the past nine years. Surviving besides his wife, the former Annie Gaudet, are four daughters, Mrs. H.M. Walker (Simone), Gagetown, Mrs. Lionel Caissie (Florence), Moncton, Mrs. Alonzo Leger (Irene) and Mrs. Alfred Dionne (Emma), both of Scoudouc; five sons, Fred, Moncton, Orise, Woodstock, Alyre and Peter, Saint John and Joseph, Toronto; also several grandchildren and some great grandchildren. The body was taken from Richard's Funeral Home to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Dionne, Scoudouc, where it will rest until the time of the funeral, to be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock in Scoudouc. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Scoudouc.
