GRANDE-DIGUE, NB - Edgar Donelle, 75, of Route 530, Grande-Digue, passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Grande-Digue on August 16, 1928, he was the son of the late Edmond Donelle and Marie Pellerin. As a fisherman he retired after 50 years and attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue. He is survived by his wife, Laurina (Leger) Donelle; three daughters, Dorothy White (John), Moncton, Camilla Donelle (Mike), Saint-John, N.B. and Linda Gaudet (Ron), Dieppe; two sons, Gilles Donelle (Yvette) and Bertin Donelle (Anette), both of Grande-Digue; three sisters, Iréne Gaudet (Joe), Bas CapPle, Viola Labrosse (late Edgar), Vancouver, B.C. and Rita Masson (late Léo), Boucherville, Qué.; two brothers, Arthur Donelle (Joan), St-Lazarre, Qué. and Normand (Diana), Cocagne; five grandchildren, Allan, Marc, Julien, Rémi and Kevin; two step-grandsons, Marc and Marcel. Remains resting at the Cooperative Funeraire Passage Funeral Cooperative, 3754 Rte 134 Shediac Bridge, 5321050. The visiting hours will be Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2:00pm until time of departure at 3:30pm. The funeral service will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church GrandeDigue, Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at 4:00pm. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Requested by the family, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
