Edna Leger -
The death of Mrs. Edna Leger, widow of Edouard Leger, of 50 Spurr Street, occurred at Moncton Hospital Friday after a sudden illness. She was 75. Bom in Memramcook, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Madelaine (Auffrey) LeBlanc and attended Assumption Cathedral. Her first husband Edmond Richard, died in 1950 and her second husband died in 1961. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mai LeCouffe of Longueil, Quebec and Mrs. Keith LeGonit (Lidia) of Ontario; two sons, Edmour of Halifax and George of Fredericton; one brother, Ferdinand of Dieppe; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body it resting at Frenette's Funeral Home with funeral mass this moming at 11:00 at Assumption Cathedral and interment in St. Thomas Cemetery in St. Joseph.
