FRASER, Henry Lawrence -
73, Northumberland Veterans Unit, Pictou, formerly of Plymouth, died Thursday, July 9, 1998, in the veterans unit, Pictou. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Robert and May (Cantley) Fraser. He was a retired employee from Hawker Siddeley Ltd. He was a member of First United Church, Trenton. He was a veteran of both the Second World War and the Korean War and was a member of North Nova Scotia Highlanders, Normandy Veterans Association, Korean Veterans Association and Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 29, Trenton. He is survived by son, Larry (Mary), Sydney Mines; sister, Marion (Mrs. Raymond Barton), Moncton, N.B.; brother, David, Hillside; step-grandchildren, Tiffany and Nicholas. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Linda Legere; brothers, Alva and Sehley. No visitation by request. Graveside service will be held Saturday in Hillside Cemetery, Rev. Stephen Fram officiating. Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 29, Trenton, will meet at the cemetery to hold their service. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. Arrangements entrusted to R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
