William (Bill) Leger, 93, of Park Street, Moncton, died Friday at the George L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a lengthy illness. Born in Springhill Junction, N.S., he was a son of the late Moses and Marie (LeBlanc) (LeBLanc) Leger and had been employed with the stores department of the Canadian National Railways until retirement. He attended the Assumption Cathedral, Moncton. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Susie LeBlanc of Dieppe, and by several nieces and nephews, He was predeceased by three sisters, Eva, May and Katherine, and three brothers, Adolph, Edward and Frank. The body will be at Frenette's Funeral Home, Moncton, this evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at the Assumption Cathedral at a time to be announced. Interment will be in the Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
