FOYER ST-ANTOINE, ST.-ANTOINE DE KENT, NB - Elmire Gaudet, 94, of Foyer St-Antoine, St-Antoine de Kent and formerly of St.-Paul de Kent, NB passed away on Sunday, February 9, 1997 in Foyer St.-Antoine, St.-Antoine de Kent after a brief illness.
Born in Ste-Marie de Kent, NB she was the daughter of the late Joseph Robichaud and Evangeline LeBlanc. She was a housewife and attended St.-Antoine Roman Catholic Church, St.-Antoine de Kent, NB.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Dorice (Lionel) Léger of Moncton, Mrs. Thérèse (Alonzo) Maillet of St-Paul de Kent, Mrs. Rita (Camille) Maillet of Westmester, Mass., Mrs. Bernice (Alcide) Cormier of Bouctouche and Audette McCaie of Gardner, Mass.; six sons, Yvon (Colombe) Gaudet of Oromocto, Albéo Gaudet et Guy Gaudet both of St-Paul de Kent, Ovila (Sandy) Gaudet and Oscar (Yvette) both of Fitchburg, Mass. and Armand (Catherine) of Bouctouche, NB; two sisters, Irène of Fitchburg, Mass., Thérèse (Gérald) Richard of St.-Antoine de Kent, NB; six brothers, Félix (Imelda) of Ste-Marie de Kent, Gerard and Henri both of St. Antoine de Kent, Brother Léo of Montreal, Emerie (Marguerite) of Moncton, Josephat of Notre-Dame de Kent; 44 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Amand Gaudet; one son, Phillias; sister, Henriette; brothers, Pierre and Ovila.
Resting at St-Paul Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, St-Paul de Kent, NB with visiting hours on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St-Paul de Kent, NB with a time and date to be announced. Interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
