Neil Leger
NOTRE-DAME - Mr. Neil Leger, 40 years, of Notre-Dame passed away on Monday, January 20, 1997 at The Moncton Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Notre-Dame, he was the son of Valerie Leger and Georgina Cormier. He was employed with Wynberg Landscape and attended Notre-Dame-du-Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame.
He is survived by his parents of Notre-Dame, his wife, Linda (Leger) Leger; two daughters, Chantal and Pierrette; three sisters, Marie Richard (Roger), Josette Leger (Gilles Arsenault), Joanne Leger (Mario Boucher) all of Notre Dame; six brothers, Guy, Normand, (Pauline), Claude (Ginette), Aldège all of Notre-Dame, Fernand (Murielle) of Bouctouche and Michel (Ann) of Gardner, Mass.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A sister, the late Cécilia Richard predeceased him in Oct./96.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, Saint-Antoine with visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and one hour prior to the funeral mass. The funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-su-Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church (Notre-Dame) on Wednesday, January 22, 1997 at 7 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
