Patricia Ann Downey SPRINGHILL –
Patricia Ann Downey, 67, of Riverview, formerly of Springhill, passed away at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Wednesday, July 2, 2008. She adored and cherished her grandchildren, and enjoyed painting, sewing, and decorating. Patricia is survived by her life-long partner Kenneth Downey, daughters; Lora Barry, Gail Negus, both of Calgary, Joyce Anne Legere of Amherst, Carla Levy of Miami, sons; Bruce (Lori) of Riverview, Danny (Patti) of Moncton, Derek of Vancouver, sisters; Helen, Linda, Dianne, Bonnie Lee, all of Springhill, brothers; Jackie of Springhill, Harold of Sydney, N.S. and Robert and Donnie of Springhill. Besides Patricia’s immediate family, she is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Joyce Perrin. Visitation will be held at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church Street, Amherst on Monday, July 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 8 at 2 p.m., at Campbell’s Funeral Home.
