Normand Léger 1959 - 2008 NOTRE-DAME -
Normand Léger, 49, of Nanaimo, BC, formerly of Notre-Dame, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 following a lengthy illness. Born May 10, 1959 in Moncton, he was the son of Jeannine (Arsenault) and the late Raymond Leger (2001). Prior to his illness, we was employed in the logging industry at Louise Island, BC, and in construction. Besides his mother of Notre-Dame, he will be sadly missed by his brothers and sister, Ricky (Cheryl) and their daughter, Amaya; Andy (Bernice) and their daughters: Parise and Isabelle; Pauline Cormier, her son, Rémi (Tina) and their daughter, Haley Cormier all of St-Antoine; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. No visitation by request. The funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14 at Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, Notre-Dame. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations to the Dr-Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
