Modeste Jaillet (1916 - 2007) BOUCTOUCHE, NB -
Modeste Jaillet, age 91, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, and formally of Saint Edouard de Kent, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche on Sunday, May 27th, 2007. Born in Bouctouche on April 4th, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Francois and the late Emma (Née Savoie) LeBlanc. She will be sadly missed by her children, Félice Blanchard (Freddie Jr.), Denise Léger (Emerie) both of Saint-Edouard de Kent, Altérice (Fernande) of Saint-Edouard de Kent, Jean-Noel (Elsée) of Sainte-Anne de Kent; five grandchildren, Micheline, Joey, Tina, Mireille, Josée; five great grand children, Julie, Monica, Chloé, Xavier, Véronique; three sisters, Adèle Richard of Toronto, Anita Babineau of Hamilton, Alice Arsenault of Leominster, Mass.; two brothers, Aldéric (Adèle) of Bouctouche Bay, Eddie (Stella) of Leominster, Mass. and also by several nephews and nieces. Modeste was predeceased by her husband; Edouard Jaillet (1981); two sisters, Anna, Laura; three brothers, Eugène, Fred, Louis. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Monday, May 28th, from 7 to 9 pm, and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 29th, at 7:00 pm at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Interment will be in the Sainte-Anne de Kent Cemetery. In Modeste's memory donations can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, or the Heart and Stroke foundation.
