D. Theriault Barachois (Special) -
The death of David Theriault of Barachois, N.B., occurred at his home on Wednesday at the age of 80. Born in Robichaud Office, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Theriault and attended St. Henri du Barachois Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Zelda Leger; six daughters, Mrs. Saluste Pelchat (Marguerite) of Valleyfield, Mrs. Camille Gallant (Juliette), Mrs. Alderice Leger (Evangeline) of Barachois, Mrs. Leo Garneau (Marie Therese) of St. Katherine, Quebec, Mrs. Edward Mechalik (Sara) of Greenwood, N.S. and Mrs. Adrien Despres (Louise) of Moncton; four sons, Camille and Aurelle of Ontario and Ullyse and Eugene of Montreal; five sisters, Mrs. Albanie Gagnon, Mrs. Albina (Grayney) of Dupuis Corner, Mrs. Elizabeth LeBlanc of Moncton, Miss Florine Theriault of Villa Providence and Mrs. Laurent Niles of Quebec and 24 grandchildren. Funeral mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Henri church in Barachois, with entombment in the parish vault to await interment later in the spring. The body is resting at Frenette funeral home in Shediac.
