V. Leger ST. JOSEPH (Special) -
The death of Victor Leger of Memramcook occurred Monday evening at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 55. Born at Memramcook, he was a son of the late Alfred and Alvina (Gaudet) Leger, He was employed with CN's express branch and was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas He is survived by his wife, the former Raymonde LeBlanc; five daughters, Mrs. Jean-Paul Boudreau (Rachel) of Gayton, Mrs. Clovis LeBlanc (Jeannine) of Cormier's Cove, Mrs. Robert LeBlanc (Bernette) of College Bridge, and Louise and Dorine, both at home; five sisters, Sylvie and Aline, both of Dieppe, Mrs. Jude LaViolette (Celina) of Moncton, Mrs. Henri LeBlanc (Catherine) of Pre d'en Haut,. and Mrs. Arthur LeBlanc (Marie) of Memramcook; one brother, Aurele Leger of Moncton; and three grandchildren. The body is resting at Dupuis' Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph, with interment in the pariah cemetery.
