MRS. A. RICHARD DIES AT AGE 76 BREAU VILLAGE (Special) -
Mrs. Anna Richard, 76, wife of the late John Richard of Breau Village died Sunday afternoon a she was being admitted to Hotel Dieu, Moncton. Mrs. Richard had been ill for several months and died on the stretcher while being taken up on the elevator. Mrs. Richard was the former Anna Surrette and was born in Cocagne. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Geoffrey Richard (Yvonne), Buctouche; Mrs. Delphis Babineau (Evelyn), Despres Village; Mrs. Fidele Cormier (Mary); Despres Village, and Mrs. Lionel Savoie (Rose), Breau Village; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Fred Goguen (Alice), Fitchburg, Mass., and Mrs. Arthur Bourque, (Emma), Cocagne; one son, Jacques, Moncton; one stepson, Pascal Richard, Cocagne; one sister, Mrs. Henry Leger, St. Anthony and two brothers, Arthur Surrette, Fitchburg, Mass., and Christian Surrette, Moncton, The body will rest at the home of Fidele Cormier, Despres Village. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Requiem mass will be celebrated in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne.
