Leo Leger St Anthony, Kent Co., N. B., March 5 -
Leo Leger, son of Levis Leger, a highly respected family of St. Anthony, passed away recently after a long period of ill health. He is survived by his father, mother, three sisters, Mrs. Maxime Cormier (Alice), of St. Anthony, Miss Nelida Leger, of Montreal and Miss Edmee Leger of Hartford, Conn., and three brothers, Eric of Springfield, Mass., Alfred of New York, and Oscar Leger of St. Anthony. The funeral was largely attended and took place at St. Anthony's Church, Rev. Father Desire Allain of Notre Dame, priest-in-charge of the parish, singing a high mass of requiem. The pallbearers were Henry Robichaud, Alphonse Robichaud, Aquila Williams, Arthur Williams, Joseph Leger and Leo Goguen. Interment was in St. Anthony's Church cemetery. There were many mass cards and spiritual bouquets. Leo Leger was for several years a member of the choir of St. Anthony's Church.
