Beatrice "Bella" LeBlanc, 94, wife of the late Ferdinand LeBlanc of Villa Providence, formerly of Moncton, passed away Friday, May 6, 2005 at the residence following a lengthy illness. Born May 8, 1910 in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Elie and Nelida (Leger) Leger. She is survived by five children, Geneva Rootham (Kenneth) of Scarborough, Doris Leger (late Archie), and Donald (Paulette) of Moncton, Raymond (Stella) of Grande-Digue, Flora LeBlanc (Norbert) of Cocagne; a step-daughter Gloria; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Besides her husband Ferdinand (1972), she is also predeceased by her sons, Roger (1977) and Georges (1988); sisters, Lucie Gaudet, Alice LeBlanc, Sister Marie-Georgia Leger, n.d.s.c.; brothers, Johnny, Antoine; and a step-sister, Aline Despres. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from noon until time of departure (12:50). The funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2005 at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
