HAUTE-ABOUJAGANE, NB - Rita LeBlanc, 88, wife of the late Arcade LeBlanc of Haute-Aboujagane passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, June 6, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Mélas Bourgeois and the late Justine Landry. She is survived by five daughters, Estelle LeBlanc of Fredericton, Nathalie Léger (Ola) of Cormier-Village, Marcella Boudreau (Réginald) of Moncton, Rolande Cormier (late Eugène) and Andréa LeBlanc (Emery Léger) all of HauteAboujagane; six sons, Marcel (Diane) of Cocagne, Zoel (Louise), Raoul (Jacqueline), Aurèle (Doris), Pierre (Suzanne) all of Haute-Aboujagane, Roland (Stella) of Grand-Barachois; one half-sister Louisa Arsenault of Haute-Aboujagane; one brother, Mélas Bourgeois of Middle Sackville; four half-brothers, Ola (Dora), Ovide (Aline), Adrice, Bernard (Zena) all of Haute-Aboujagane; 19 grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and by one son-in-law Charles Cormier of GrandeDigue. Besides her husband, Arcade, she was predeceased by one sister, Edna Drisdelle and by one daughter, Roberta Cormier. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, February 4 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday, February 5 from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:35a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church in Haute-Aboujagane.
