BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Rita LeBlanc, 85, widow of the late Fidèle LeBlanc (1999), passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, SainteAnne de Kent, NB, Saturday, June 19, 2004, following a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-Anne de Kent, NB, September 23, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Ozias Richard and Marguerite Girouard. She was a housewife and attended the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche, NB. She was a past member of the Bouctouche Golden Age Club. Rita is survived by one daughter, Andréa Cormier (Jean-Noël) of Gardner, Mass; three sons, Paul of Bouctouche, Normand (Rose-Mai), Roger and Guy (Kathy), all of Gardner, Mass; four sisters, Jeanne-Mance Wage of Montreal, Oliva Allain (Oscar) of Richibucto, Rosa Léger (Alban) and Juliette Daigle (Yvon) both of Sainte-Anne de Kent; two brothers, Arthur (Germaine) of Dieppe and René (Josey) of Boucherville, QC; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one son, Ronald in infancy; one daughter, Marie in infancy; three brothers, Joseph, Ola, Alvin; three sisters, Géraldine, Maria and Irène. Remains are resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., Bouctouche, with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm, and Tuesday from 9 to 10:45am. The funeral service will be held at the SaintJean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche, Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at 11am. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
