Marjorie Snowdon
MIDGIC, NB - The death of Marjorie Snowdon, age 72, wife of Rae Snowdon of Brooklyn Road, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 7, 2002 following a lengthy illness. Born in Brooklyn Road, she was a daughter of the Late Kenneth and Della (Sears) Phinney. Marjorie was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and long time member of the WMS. Marjorie will be sadly missed by her husband of 52 years, Rae Snowdon, Midgic; three sons, Keith (Beverley), Bible Hill, NS, Rupert (Janice), Moncton and Douglas, Irishtown; two daughters, Sandra (Gerry) Ross, Amherst, NS and Sally (Blaine) Bagley, Riverview; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest (Marilyn) and Vernon (Tammy), both of Midgic; three sisters, Bernice Snowden, Midgic, Nellie (Albert) Legere, Jolicure, NB and Reva (Fred) Cook, Sackville. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Salem Baptist Church, Sackville on Monday, September 9, 2002 at 2 PM, Pastor Morris Mills officiating. Burial in the Midgic Cemetery.
