COCAGNE, NB - Juliette Dupuis, 49, of Cocagne, formerly of Memramcook East, passed away peacefully at The Moncton City Hospital on December 1, 2003 after a battle with a brain tumor. Born August 22, 1954, her heart has stopped beating but the love she gave will continue to live. Juliette will be remembered as a genuine, kind and caring person to everyone she knew. She had real empathy, compassion for the less fortunate people, especially the poor, the sick, the handicapped and the elderly. Juliette's favorite pastime was traveling and learning new languages. She and her loving companion, Jean-Paul Goguen had traveled all over the world, visiting all the continents. Juliette also enjoyed walking in the nature where she found peacefulness. Juliette was a graduate of Universite de Moncton in 1976 and after devoted the rest of her life as a teacher. Juliette will be missed by her best friend and beloved companion JeanPaul Goguen of Cocagne; her mother, Ella Dupuis of Memramcook East; two sisters, Beatrice (Raymond Gautreau) of Memramcook East, Aline (Camille Cormier) of Dieppe; four brothers, Alonzo (Jacqueline Poirier) of Shippegan, Rhéal (Hélène Leblanc) of Dieppe; two twin brothers, Omer of Bathurst and Edouard (Majella Leger) of Bermuda. Juliette was prececeased by her father, Honoré (Henry) in 1966. A celebration of Juliette's life will be held Thursday, December 4, 2003 at the Church of Notre-Dame de Lourdes in Memramcook East at 7 pm. At Juliette's request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home, but those who wish to give condolences to the family will be welcome immediately after the ceremony at the local school of the Knights of Colombus in Memramcook East. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the professional hands of Passage Funeral Co-Operative in Shediac Bridge, 3754 Rte. 134, Shediac Bridge (532-1050).
