Alphonse E. LeBlanc
Alphonse Edmond LeBlanc, 65 of Irishtown, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2001 at the Dr. Georges -L. Dumont Hospital following a sudden illness. Born December 2, 1936 in MacDougall Settlement, he was the son of the late Alphonse M. and Euphémie (Gaudet) LeBlanc. He was an automotive mechanic with Taylor Ford before retirement, and was owner of Al's Auto Sales in Irishtown. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Yvonne (LeBlanc) LeBlanc; his daughter, Lisa of Fredericton; his son Daniel (Gisèle) of Moncton; sisters, Jeannette Leger (Laurie) of Leominster, Leola Bourque (Jean-Paul) of Cocagne; brothers Clarence (Joanne) of Port Cartier, QC, Camille (Adrienne) of Cocagne, Francis (Irene) of Grand Barachois; grandchildren, Brandon, Melissa; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Roy and Joseph. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm., Saturday from 9: 30 a.m. until time of departure (10:35). The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2001 at St-Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church, Irishtown. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
