NOTRE-DAME, NB - Rudolphe Légere, 78, of Protem Health Services Inc, Moncton and formerly of Notre-Dame, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 19, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born in New York, NY on October 7, 1927, he was the son of the late Delphis Légere and Claire Collette. He was a Tool and Die Maker at Pratt and Whitney for several years. He attended Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame and was a member of Knights of Columbus 4th Degree with the Rev. M.B. Roddan Assembly no. 108, Connecticut. He served in Germany during World War II with the American Army. He is survived by one sister, Lilianne Allain of Connecticut; one brother, Emery of Connecticut and several nephews and nieces. He was predec eased by his wife, Jeanne (Gaudet) Légere in 2002; one sister, Florita; two brothers, Ernest and Delphis Jr. Resting at Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame with visiting hours on Friday, December 23 from 2 to 4pm and 5:30 to 6:45pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 7:00pm at Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre Dame, with interment in the Parish Cemetery.
