Félix Léger
ST-ANTOINE - Félix Léger, 878, of St-Antoine, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 1995 at Foyer St-Antoine after a lengthy illness.
Born on February 22, 1908 in Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the late Laurent and Emelie (Breau) Léger. He was a owner of a saw mill and attended St-Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, St-Antoine.
He is survived by his wife, Anita (Lacroix) Leger, three daughters, Lucille Martineau (Normand) of Rumford, Me., Donalda Daub (Patrick) of Fort Francis, Ont. and Huberte Melanson of Fort McMurray, Alta.; seven sons, Rev. Fernand of Caracas, Venezuela, Victor, Maurice (Jacqueline), both of Montreal, Que., Léonard (Viola) of Beresford, Ronald (Denise) of Sudbury, Ont., Louis-Philippe (Annette) of St-Antoine and Jacques-René (Lorraine) of Tide Head; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of the his immediate family. He was predeceased by three brothers, Floribert, Evariste and Henri; four sisters, Domethilde, Julie, Sara and Sister Jeanne de Valois.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, Main Street, St-Antoine (525-2855) with visiting hours on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be held at St-Antoine l'Ermite Romans Catholic Church, St-Antoine, on Saturday, July 8, 1995 at 11 a.m. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
