D. Leger St. Antoine (Special) -
Desire Leger, 88, died Tuesday at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital. Born in St. Antoine, he was a son of the late Edouard and Emilie (Belliveau) Leger. He was a retired farmer. He was predeased by his first wife, Marguerite Maillet in June, 1969; two sisters and three brothers. He is survivied by his second wife, the former Eleonore (Richard) Babineau; six daughters, Mrs. Eric LeBlanc (Leona), Mrs. Norman Cormier (Dora), both of St. Antoine, Mrs. Leon Cormier (Edna), Mrs. Henri Richard (Geraldine), both of Cocagne, Mrs. Gerard Bourque (Edithe), Moncton, Mrs. Joe Boucher (Geneva), Shediac Bridge; three sons, Yvon and Paul, both of St. Antoine, and Emery, Cocagne; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Laurie LeBlanc (Anita), Mrs. Eugere LeBlanc (Florence), both of Ste. Marie, and Mrs. Rheal Despres (Bernice), Buctouche Bay; one stepson, Rudolphe Landry, Ste. Marie; one brother, Gilbert, St. Antoine; 44 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren. The body is at the St. Antoine Roman Catholic Church. Time and date for the funeral mass will be announced by Maillet's Funeral Home, Buctouche.
