Florine Anne Chenard
FREDERICTON, NB - Florine Anne Chenard of Fredericton, NB, died suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, January 8, 2006. Born in St. Paul, Kent County, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fidèle and Arzelie (Leger) LeBlanc and the wife of the late Léonce Chenard. Florine was a registered nurse who practiced in Montreal, California, Quebec and Fredericton areas. She was a member of Third Age University of Fredericton, a member of Saint John River Historical Society and an active member of Ste-Anne-des-Pays-Bas Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and special friend to many. Florine was a very generous and loving woman of great faith who lived life to the fullest. Survived by one daughter, Anne Hawkins (Gary) of Upper Kingsclear, NB; three sons, Paul Chenard (Lise Langlois) of Halifax, Jacques Chenard (Rev. Dr. Cindi Chenard) of Dartmouth, NS and Marc Chenard (Sherry Thomson) of Fredericton; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Blake and Ted Hawkins, Laurent, Olivier, Patrick and Geoffrey Chenard; one sister, Rita Blanchard of Moncton, NB. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Leonce; two sisters, Yvonne LeBlanc and Lorraine Leger; three brothers, Anselme, Laurie LeBlanc and Gerard LeBlanc. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm. Wednesday, January 11, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ste-Anne-des-Pays-Bas Catholic Church on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 4:00 pm, Rev. Emery Brien as celebrant. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery at a later date.
