Maria Boucher, 75, of Moncton passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 1996 at the Georges-L Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in St-Norbert, she was the daughter of the late Alban and Orsina (Leblanc) Cormier. A homemaker she attended St-Timothée Roman Catholic Church, Adamsville.
She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Steward Donaher (Lucille) of Targetville, Mrs. Hazen Collette (Alfreda) of St-Paul de Kent, Mrs. Raymond Leblanc (Yvette) of Moncton; one stepdaughter, Louisa Cornelius of Spring, Colorado, USA.; three sons, Gerald, Victor (Rosa), both of Coal Branch and Alcide (Ella) of Irishtown; three sisters, Cecilia Gaudet of Moncton, Andrianna Leger of St-Antoine de Kent and Louisa Leblanc of St-Anne de Kent,; one brother, Levi Cormier of Leominster, Mass, USA.; 15 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Maillet and her second husband, Henrie Boucher; three sisters, Rose delima, Colombe and Rose; three brothers, Leo, Alphonse and Emile; one grandchild, Noel Pellerin.
Resting at St-Timothée Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Adamsville with visiting hours on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St-Timothée Roman Catholic Church, Adamsville on Friday, January 5, 1996 at 7 p.m. Interment in Parish Cemetery in the spring.
