Mrs. A. Cormier -
The death of Mrs. Amelia Cormier, wife of Hector E. Cormier of 27 Lockhart Avenue, Moncton, occurred Wednesday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital after a long illness. She was 71. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Amede and Marie Blanche (Hebert) Richard. She attended Christ the King Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Order of St. Francis and of the Christian Women. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Gerald Parkhill (Norma) and Mrs. Ronald Horsman (Carmella), both of Moncton, and Sister Laura Cormier n.d.s.c., Ste. Anne de Kent; three sons, Alde of Moncton, Albert of Sherran, Mass., and Hector Cormier of Riverview; three sisters, Miss. Emma Richard and Mrs. Edouard Saulnier (Florida), both of Moncton, and Mrs. Gerard Leger (Sara) of Waltham, Mass.; three brothers, Pierre of Moncton, Joseph of Waltham and Gerald Richard of Dieppe; 14 grandchildren, three great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Moncton. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church with interment in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
