A. Leger -
The death of Alonzo Leger of Cocagne Cape occurred Friday at Cocagne Cape. He was 60. Born in Grande Dique, he was the son of Mr. and the late Mrs. Wilfred Leger and attended the Grande Digue Roman Catholic Church. He was employed as a fisherman. Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, the former Anida Hebert; an adopted son, Charles Leger of Cocagne Cape; five sisters, Mrs. Alfred Cormier (Eveline) of Leominister, Mass., Mrs. Edgar Poirer (Lea) of Grande Digue, Mrs. Raoul Gallant (Maria) of Shediac Bridge, Mrs. Christo Melakoof (Geneva) of Pierre Font. Que., and Miss. Anida Leger of Los Vegas. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home in Shediac. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Grande Digue Roman Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery.
