Mrs. E. LeBlanc - St. Joseph (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Evangeline LeBlanc, wife of Dominique A. LeBlanc, of 196 Princess Street, Saint John, occurred Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital in Saint John following a long illness. She was 80. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Romain and Rosalie (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. She moved to Saint John over 50 years ago. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Gerard Leger (Edna) of Moncton, and by a number of neices and nephews. An adopted son, Laurie LeBlanc, died overseas during the Second World War. Mrs. LeBlanc was active in all societies of the Assumption Cathedral. The body is resting in Saint John where a funeral mass will be celebrated Friday morning at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Saint John following which the body will be transfered to Dupuis funeral home in Memramcook to rest Friday afternoon. A second funeral mass will take palce at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, St Joseph, with entombment in the church cemetery vault to await burial on the family lot in the spring.
