Alex Leo Cormier, 65, died recently at the Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital. Born in Cap Pele, he was a son of the late Mack and Elizabeth (Cormier) Cormier. He was a retired employee of Ferguson industries and a member of Stella Maris Church. Surviving besides his wife, the former Doris Legere of Port Elgin, are a daughter, Helen (Mrs. Richard MacCallum) of Carlisle, Ont. ; four sons, Robert of Calgary, Alta., Donald of Hamilton, Ont., Roy of New Glasgow, N.S., and Ernie of Stoney Creek, Ont.; two sisters, Mary (Mrs. Oswald LeBlanc) and Stella (Mrs. Eulage Robichaud) both of Shediac, six brother, Alais of Port Elgin, Arthur of Shediac, Rheal of Fitchburg Mass., Rene and Albin, both of Cap Pele and Joseph of Port Hawkesbury, N.S., and nine grandchildren.
