DEATH AURELE GOGUEN COCAGNE (Special) -
The death of Aurele Goguen occurred early Saturday at his home in Cocagne following a lengthy illness. He was 63. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Damien and Olive (Babineau) Goguen and had been occupied as a sawmill operator there for the past eight years. He attended the Cocagne Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Delina Cormier; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Valerise) Hache of Fredericton; two sons, Desire of Cocagne and Severin of St. Andre, N.B.; two sisters, Mrs. Edouard (Emma) Leger of Cocagne Cape, and Mrs. Eva Babineau of Notre Dame, N.B. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home in Shediac, with funeral mass to be celebrated today at 10:30 a.m. at Cocagne Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
