Mrs. J. Legere
SACKVILLE (Specia!) — Mrs. Joan Legere, 64, of Sackville, wife of Albert Legere, died Saturday at Sackville Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Hove, Sussex, England, she was a daughter of Catherine (Wallis) Rhodes and the late Joseph Rhodes. Retired, she worked with Sackville Memorial Hospital for 14 years and attended St.Paul's Anglican Church, Sackville. She was a member of Fort Beausejour Chapter IODE and a past president of the J Sackvllle Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Besides her mother and husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. David Tracy (Lois) of Kentville, NS., Mrs. John Long (Brenda) of Sackville and Mrs. Stephen Siddall (Anne) of Rothesay; two sons, Ronald of Lower Sackville, NS., and David of Agassiz, B.C.; and 11 grandchildren. A son, Donald, died in 1964.
The body is at Jones Funeral Home, Sackville. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at St. Paul’s Anglican Church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Sackville Cemetery. THe Sackville Legion Ladies' Auxiliary will hold a memorial service this [incomplete]
